Relic’s Book Launch!

Greetings everyone!

It’s been exactly two weeks since my debut YA fantasy novel Relic was released into the world and the support so far has been mind-boggling!

A few days after release, my book launch party was held at Better Read Than Dead bookstore in Newtown, Sydney. The turn-out was overwhelming – with around 100 of my friends and family showing up to celebrate with me!

The night flew by in a flash but was filled with hugs, laughter, many copies of Relic and a giant Relic cake!

In abundance: books and people

I gave a short and somewhat awkward speech in which I apologised for the ending of my novel (I’m not really sorry) and I spent around an hour signing books! That was an incredible feeling and I hope to do it again very soon.

Things that matter most: family and cake.

If you haven’t heard about Relic, well what can I say? The ending will probably make you cry (you won’t be the first) but if you like dark fantasy, twisted magic and kick-ass heroines then you should definitely check it out!

International friends can get eBooks and paperbacks on Amazon, while my Aussie/NZ readers can get a signed paperback at Booktopia (or grab it on Amazon).

Dream Team: Talem Press represents

I’ve started edits of book two in the series and it’s been really interesting doing so after reading reviews from people out in the world! I am now very conscious of the characters people love/hate, what they’re hoping to see in later books and the parts they loved the most. Basically, I want to make my readers happy!

Signing for my ‘sister from another mister’ ❤

So that’s all for tonight – I just wanted to share with you a few photos of the wonderful book launch night! In the mean time, if you’d like more updates you can subscribe to my newsletter for exclusive content, giveaways, sneak peeks and more.

Here’s to many more books and many more book launches!
