Top Ten Tuesday: Favourite Book Quotes

Attempting my first #TopTenTuesday blog post! This was actually quite a hard one to start on. Now if it were favourite MOVIE or TV quotes, I’d be all over this since I tend to have an easier time remembering quotes that I hear, rather than read.

Anyway, here we go:

1. The Fall of Arthur by J.R.R Tolkien

“…so burned his soul after long glory for a last assay of pride and prowess, to the proof setting will unyielding in war with fate.”

2. & 3. Station Eleven by Emily St. John Mandel

“Hell is the absence of the people you long for.”
“Survival is insufficient.”

4. Gemina by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman

5. & 6. Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie

“To die would be an awfully big adventure.”
“Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.”

7. The Fault in our Stars by John Green

“I’m a grenade and at some point I’m going to blow up and I would like to minimize the casualties, okay?”

8. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

“My good opinion once lost, is lost forever.”

9. Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

“You have my name and my family, my clan, and if necessary, the protection of my body as well.”

10. Lost Boy by Christina Henry
